Wave 185 Stainless Steel

The object

Wave 185 offers a flat-bottom brewing bed with three small drainage holes. Its stainless steel body provides a durable alternative to glass or ceramic drippers, while the pleated Wave paper is part of the brewing system. Kalita identifies this larger size for two to four cups.

Choose the 185 when you want a manual brewer with room for a larger dose than the smaller Wave 155. It needs the corresponding 185 filters, so include those in the setup rather than using cone paper. The manufacturer lists the dripper as dishwasher safe.
