The details
The Six Cup Classic combines brewing and serving in one glass vessel. Its wood collar provides a place to hold the brewer, while the upper cone accepts CHEMEX Bonded filters. The format suits someone who prefers a single piece of equipment on the table instead of a separate dripper and carafe.
Use the larger CHEMEX filter format, including the pre-folded squares, rather than the half-moon paper intended for three-cup brewers. The six-cup designation is the manufacturer’s serving size, not six full mugs. Plan the dose and water for the amount you want to share, and follow the manufacturer’s glass-care instructions.
