The object
This anodized-aluminum cup catches a grinder dose, then seats magnetically over a 58-millimeter basket for a cleaner transfer. Its closed form also allows the dose to be shaken before the center pin is lifted and the grounds are released.
The selected black cup is 55 millimeters in diameter and 75 millimeters tall. Magnet polarity and portafilter size affect fit, so its advantage is strongest in a compatible 58-millimeter workflow.
