The details
Kalita’s narrow-spout kettle is a manual pouring vessel with a 700 mL capacity. Its slim profile and 330 g body weight offer a different handling experience from a larger electric kettle. The pot and lid are made from 18-8 stainless steel, and the manufacturer lists it as made in Japan.
The important limitation is heating compatibility: Kalita’s US product page says this model is not suitable for gas stoves or induction cooktops. Treat it as a vessel for transferring hot water and controlling a pour, rather than assuming it can replace a stovetop heating kettle. The manufacturer specifies hand washing.
