The object
Pixapresso combines a rechargeable pump with a built-in heater, so it can brew from cold water without a kettle. It accepts 8 to 16 grams of ground coffee or Nespresso Original-compatible capsules and provides temperature and pre-infusion adjustments.
Battery demand changes sharply with water temperature and drink size: Wacaco rates a charge for up to five espressos from cold water, with many more brews possible from preheated water. USB-C charging and replaceable batteries make it a fuller travel system than the brand's manual models.
