About Shimmer A brand new year-round offering is shining its way into our lineup! We’re excited to be able to share another coffee that you can always count on, no matter the season. Shimmer will always feature a single washed Ethiopian coffee. (Yes, you read that right; we’re going to have an Ethiopian offering all year long!) The current iteration is Jigesa, named for the small village in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia where the landowners farm their coffees. Shimmer has a balanced, medium body with soft, approachable notes of fruit. It’s an Ethiopian coffee that we think will ‘shine’ with all kinds of coffee drinkers! REGION: Shakisso, Guji, Oromia, Ethiopia PRODUCER: 850 Smallholders VARIETAL: Landrace ALTITUDE: 1,900 - 2,000 meters PROCESS: Washed Tastes like Stone Fruit, Chocolate, Floral Brewing Recommendation While we strive to roast our coffees to be enjoyable using any brewing method, try Shimmer on Drip or Kalita.
