About this coffee
This coffee is available as Espresso profile only. The small, remote town of Malvarisco in San Pedro El Alto is home to 85 small-scale coffee farmers who cultivate an average of 1-2 hectares of land apiece. After decades of cultivating the land through mainly traditional methods, in 2018 the group began working with exporter/importer Caravela Coffee on a quality improvement project to assist in bringing their coffee to a wider specialty market. The evolution of their harvesting and processing techniques has helped the group improve yields and increase profitability and quality, paving the way toward a bright future as specialty producers. In the cup, look for elegant notes of raspberry, white chocolate, & caramel. We encourage you to enjoy this coffee, available as a single roast profile, across multiple brew methods!
