Coava Coffee Roasters
Chalatenango (Semi Washed)
About this coffee
This coffee is available as Drip roast profile only. Pacamara is a hybrid coffee varietal highly regarded for its clean, vibrant flavors and stellar cup quality. A cross of Pacas (a disease resistant derivative of Bourbon) and Maragogype (a derivative of Typica known for its giant cherries that produce “elephant beans”), Pacamara is also immediately recognizable for its impressive size. This offering combines Pacamara lots from Enrique Posadas and William Diaz, two standout producers with decades of experience cultivating coffee in the Chalatenango mountains of El Salvador. In this semi-washed process offering, look for notes of plum tart, demerara sugar, & white grape.
