About this coffee
We've been sourcing from Guatemala since 2015, when Chris Baca, Jared Truby, and Charles Jack made their first trip and started building relationships there. Rosalío Martínez has farmed for 25+ years, tending about 7 hectares across nine plots in Antigua – the kind of longevity and care that shows up in the cup. His coffee comes to us through Bella Vista, a mill led by fourth-generation producer and agronomist Luis Pedro Zelaya Zamora, whose team is also pushing toward regenerative agriculture and healthier soil. Experience: juicy peach and kiwi meet the warm, comforting sweetness of toffee and nuts. The acidity brings sparkle without taking over, staying balanced and approachable from first sip to last. It's the kind of coffee that can introduce someone to brighter single-origins while still feeling like an easy, everyday favorite.
